One of the main reasons for many students to attend our faculty is the particularly good staff-to-student ratio. The approximately 1400 students are in the company of approximately 20 professors and approximately 150 research associates in teaching positions (as of May 2016). This means you aren’t lost in the masses in lectures and exercises and theses are individually supervised.

Our Professors are very active internationally and are established in their respective areas of expertise. Leading researchers from all around the world are regularly invited to hold lectures and talks as part of the institute colloquia.

The green spaces in the immediate vicinity of the campus are very popular, be it for jogging, cooking out, or relaxing between classes.
