Mourning Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Eberhard Stief

The Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering mourns the loss of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Eberhard Stief, who died 17 November 2015.

As state secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Nature Conservation of Saxony-Anhalt, Prof. Stief actively supported the structuring of the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Institute of Equipment and Environmental Engineering, as well as the OVGU’s environmental forum.

In 1993, Eberhard Stief was appointed Honorary Professor and entrusted with a visiting professorship for the Department of Environmental Engineering from 1994-1997. His scientific work was reflected in numerous publications and four textbooks.

We will honor his memory.
