Beniot Fond and Thermo-Fluid Dynamics

The Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg’s Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering has a new research associate among its ranks as of the current semester. A french native, Dr.-Ing. Benoit Fond occupies the junior professorship for "Experimental Thermo-Fluid Dynamics" at the Institute of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.

At the age of 29, the scientist, born in 1986 in Angouléme (western France), boasts an impressive resume. It includes completed basic studies at the elite university Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Arts et Metiers in Paris and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, which he received at the University of Florida. He then relocated to England. There he performed research on laser-based temperature measurements for six years at the Imperial College London.

In 2014 he received his doctorate.
