Greenday 2016

The national Greenday took place on 14 November 2016. As part of it, The Zukunft FEMININ project at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg organized a Greenday – MINT Trial Day for 10th grade pupils from Saxony-Anhalt.
The pupils were able to build and program a robot with Lego Mindstorm NXT. They attended the metrology lecture on temperature and pressure measurement, and carried out a freeze-drying experiment in the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering.
The two pupils, Laura and Jessica, visibly enjoyed process engineering. They conducted a freeze drying experiment at the Chair of Thermal Process Engineering – taste samples included!
