Lecture Award Goes to Mechanical Process Engineering

ProcessNet sections Agglomeration and Bulk Solids Technology, Multiphase Flows, and Computational Fluid Dynamics held an annual joint meeting from 29 February - 2 March 2016 in the Rhine Valley Conference Center in Bingen.

The section for Agglomeration and Bulk Solids Technology’s lecture award went to Ms. Katja Mader-Arndt, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Chair of Mechanical Process Engineering, for the presentation on her work entitled 'Characterization of micromechanical contact behavior of fine adhesive particles - an overview'.

Ms. Mader-Arndt, a doctoral candidate under † Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Jürgen Tomas, is working on the determination of micro-mechanical product properties of fine and ultrafine powders via atomic force microscopy, nanoindentation and compression tests.
