Chemical Equipment Class of '65 Anniversary Alumni Gathering on 19. - 20. June 2015
50 years after their initial enrollment into the programme for chemical apparatus engineering (ChA), 30 graduates gathered in Magdeburg and visited their former school.
Prof. L. Mörl and Doz. Dr. G. Krüger, two of the supervisors at the time, were also greeted with great pleasure. Information on the the Faculty for Process and Systems Engineering, as well as the Institute for Equipment and Environmental Technology's current study programmes and research focus were of great interest, while touring the fluidized bed technical center, eating at the dining hall, and evening conversations at the Ratskeller awakened old memories. Current economic and scientific developments, for example in the energy industry and the city of Magdeburg, were discussed; the football fans (1969 university champions of the former institute of technology) we're excited for the 1. FCM's advancement.
All agreed: the next gathering will take place in 5, years at the latest.
